Repetition Exam work
For my exam in April, I've decided to explore Repetition as my final photoshoot. I chose this particular type of photography because, it's an interesting way of show photos and me to take pictures from certain angles and positioning whilst being inspired by professional photographers.
Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol was an American artist, who was the leading figure in the movement of visual art which his work consisted of. Born on Aug 06 1928, Andy's first piece of work was displayed in April 1961 and his work has inspired me to edit my pictures in similar ways.

My favourite and why
Developing Ideas
I first cropped the picture so it can only focus on the shoes and making it more clear, I did this using the crop tool that offered.
I then used the HDR 1 FX, in order to brighten the picture more and make the edges more visual and sharper creating interest for viewers.
In addition to this i then created a four by four grid which I'd use in order to present the repetition in picture. Then adding my Pop art option 1 on the FX option in order to get the different couloures just like Andy Warhol's interesting and colorful pictures.
Final picture
Albert Renger Patzsch
Albert Renger-Patzsch was a German photographer associated with the New Objectivity. Renger-Patzsch was born in Würzburg and began making photographs by age twelve. He did lots of pictures that had different object within those pictures, I've chosen to respond to his work by following his glasses pictures and the technique he uses for them.
Albert Renger Patzsch uses a lot of glasses in his pictures and at the same time he uses a great level of repetition in his work.
MY RESPONSE
My favourite picture and why ?
I like this picture because of its mixture between the two glasses, this was often done by Albert Renger in order to create interest. Not only, this but i like the reason its from a bird's eye angle looking downwards, again, this links to Alberts pictures as he would put them from interesting angles.
Exploring my pictures in a different format
My favourite remake and why
I like this picture due to its form of unique form of repetition, that was used by Andy Warhol. By editing this picture it meant i had to apply the skills I had learnt to make the photo when learning the Andy Warhol project.
Step by Step refining my picture
I first used the HDR1 fx effect on the picture in order to make the outline of the glasses stand out to the audience. Making my picture more interesting catching more attention from viewers.
I then applied the four by two grid in order to have a constant repetition throughout the photograph that I shall use as final edit.
This is my final edited piece that i made with different couloures by using the Pop Art 1 tool to make different coloures on all different photos.
My most inspired picture!!
My most inspired photo is the one I feel I nearly got the same from Albert's work and had his mindset when responding to his work.
Lisa Milroy.
Lisa Milroy was born 19 January 1959 in British Columbia is an Anglo-Canadian artist known for her still life paintings of everyday objects placed in lines or patterns. Her first solo exhibition was in 1984 which was mostly based on still life. In 1989 she won the John Moores painting price. Milroy is currently Head of Graduate Painting at the Slade school of fine art, London. She gained election to membership of the Royal Academy of Arts in 2005 and was appointed a Trustee of the Tate Gallery in 2013
Her work
As we can see, Lisa's work is very repetitive and has an element of shadows which I shall convey throughout my photos as well.
My response to her work
My favorite picture
Original one
This is my edited one and I made it so that all the fruits all stood out to the audience and had shadowing contrasting on the surface area.
3 different remakes of my picture
Lisa Milroy and Lights
As well as fruits, Lisa Milroy also explores fruits in her various amount of objects that she portrays and I've decided to do the same as her and show my skill set throughout similar pictures.
My response.
My favourite picture
I like this picture due to the fact its similar to Lisa Milroy's style of pictures and the way she does her own pictures, not only this but we also see shadowing which is used frequently in Lisa Milroy photographs.
refining my ideas
This is my original photo without edit.
In this picture, I had made it black and white from the original. As well as this, I also increased the contrast and this made it easier to see the shadows given out by the light bulbs in the photograph.

BILL BECKLEY.
Bill Beckley is an American artist / photographer born in 1946. He has several galleries across the world. Beckley focus on natural objects with long stems, usually flowers with a block colour as the background so that it doesn't take the focus away from the natural object.
Why I like his pictures.
I like his pictures due to the fact they are very sophisticated as well as eye catching. Billy uses the form of repetion but as well as this he makes sure the has a constant form, by this I mean his pictures are very orderly and well positioned.
My response
My favorite picture
I like this picture due to its similarity to Bill's work. Not only this, but its arranged in a orderly manner which is done by Bill most of the time. On top of this, the picture is very colourful with a white background exposing the nature and focusing on the different elements of the photograph.

comparing the two best pictures.
I like this flower picture due to its angle that I took it using, as well as this, its very focused whilst letting the viewer to see what's beyond the picture.

I like the repetition of the squares through the transparent window. In addition to this, the background setting is very sophisticated and good due to its clouds and building in background.
